GALE HaloDome

360° Drone Detection & Airspace Awareness Radar

The GALE HaloDome™ is a compact, modular drone detection and airspace awareness radar designed for persistent, 24/7 monitoring of low-altitude airspace across public safety, schools, critical infrastructure, maritime, defense, and expeditionary environments.

Engineered to go within GALE System node, HaloDome passively detects and identifies compliant unmanned aircraft through Remote ID signal reception, delivering real-time drone awareness without emitting RF energy. This passive, low-signature approach supports covert monitoring, regulatory compliance, and operation in RF-sensitive or contested environments.

HaloDome is available in both fixed-site and mobile configurations:

  • Fixed Installation Configuration (Within GALE System or Standalone)

  • The fixed HaloDome is housed in a rugged, weather-sealed enclosure and optimized for pole, tower, rooftop, and infrastructure mounting. Power and data are delivered via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) for simplified installation and long-term unattended operation. This configuration provides wide horizontal coverage, excellent performance in maritime and coastal environments, and seamless integration into networked security and public safety systems.

  • Mobile & Compact Stand-Alone Configuration

The mobile HaloDome variant is designed for rapid deployment and temporary operations, featuring integrated LTE connectivity and stand-alone power in a compact, portable form factor. This configuration enables drone detection and airspace awareness in remote, austere, or rapidly changing environments where fixed infrastructure is unavailable. Mobile HaloDome units can be deployed for special events, emergency response, maritime operations, forward operating locations, or temporary perimeter security, and accessed anywhere through 5G LTE.

Across all configurations, HaloDome integrates natively with GALE’s edge computing platform to provide real-time alerts, map-based visualization, historical logging, and third-party system integration. Multiple HaloDome units can be networked to form a distributed airspace monitoring mesh, scaling coverage across large or complex environments.
